Today is a new beginning. The past few months have been very difficult for my fingers, heart and soul. Having to come to the conclusion that the pain in my fingers was only getting worse, I made the painful decision--- well it was painful for me---to give up on longer gigs. The pain in my left hand and even my right fingers kept creeping up on me sooner and sooner after I started to play.

Having gone through almost a month of feeling sorry for myself and thinking it was definitely an end of an era (words my son described), I felt lost. I know my personality, and I knew that I needed to find something else to fill my days.

So, I've decided, and it could change again, but for now, I'm working toward improving my writing and narrative skills, and I thought instead of just saying nothing signifcant, I'd do some research on an art, music or theater subject and share some educational points with you....
